People

People stores beneficiaries, intended recipients, and gift givers. These records are shared within the vault and can be linked from item forms and item detail pages.

1. Choose People.
2. Enter Name, optional Relationship, and optional Notes; choose Add.
3. Use Edit on a person to update those fields.
4. Deactivate a person to remove them from active pickers while retaining links and history.
5. Choose Show inactive beneficiaries to reactivate a record.
6. Link a person to an item by editing the item's Intended for or Gifted by fields.

Gift action vs. person link: "Intended for" and "Gifted by" are item relationships. The Gift action separately records the actual recipient, occasion, and date in the lifecycle history.
